A good belt doesn't need much explanation. It connects shirt, trousers, shoes, and posture. With a polo belt, a little color is added, but not as an effect.
With chinos and an Oxford shirt, the Ascot works most subtly. With denim and light linen, the Hamptons can be brighter. The Wellington creates the strongest contrast, especially with navy, white, and gray.
Less important than the rule is the measure. The belt should be visible, but not the first thing you notice. Loafers, Derbies, leather sneakers: all possible, as long as the material is right.
Our men's models are 35 mm wide. This makes them present enough for denim and chinos, but subtle enough under a jacket.
