A leather belt requires less care than you might think. But it needs the right kind of care. Store it dry. Do not dry on a heater. Remove moisture with a soft cloth.
Full-grain leather is meant to work. It darkens, develops marks, and acquires a patina. This is not a material defect. It is the reason why one chooses it.
Every three to six months, a little leather balm can help. Apply sparingly, let it soak in, then polish. No aggressive cleaners. No experiments.
The embroidery does not require special treatment. Storing the belt carefully and not creasing it is the best way to maintain its shape and surface.
