The Locher & Landwehr Promise
Every piece that bears our name is more than just an accessory. It is the result of three unshakeable principles:
Uncompromising qualityWe use only the finest materials such as Argentine full-grain leather and solid brass. Crafted to last a lifetime.
Timeless StyleOur designs are a conscious rejection of short-lived trends. We create companions that gain character with age – just like their wearer.
Responsibility in ActionWe stand for conscious consumption. Our products are made to be cared for and repaired, not replaced. That is our contribution to a more sustainable world.
Locher & Landwehr
By connoisseurs. For connoisseurs.
Founded on the belief that true style lies in substance, not show, we combine the precision of an analyst with an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship to create accessories that last not just a season, but a generation.
The Anatomy of Quality
We craft our signature polo belts from three fundamental elements: Argentine full-grain leather, waxed thread, and solid brass. Each component is purposefully chosen to create a whole that is more durable, more characterful, and more substantial than the sum of its parts.
Argentine full-grain leather
Handwoven & waxed yarn
The iconic pattern of our belts is the result of traditional craftsmanship and superior material selection. Each design is hand-woven thread by thread by experienced artisans. For this, we use a highly tear-resistant, densely twisted yarn, which is refined in a special wax bath. This technique protects the fibers from abrasion and moisture and gives the colors an unmatched depth and brilliance. The result is a firm, substantial texture that retains its shape and color for decades.
Solid brass buckle
A buckle is the functional anchor of every belt. We see it as its heart. That's why our buckles are not cast from a light, coated zinc alloy, but are crafted from a single, solid piece of brass. You'll immediately feel the difference in the pleasant weight and the cool, high-quality feel. The satin finish is elegant and understated, while the material itself is absolutely corrosion-resistant and develops its own noble, matte patina over time.
