Frequently asked questions
Which size do I take?
There are two, both unisex: EU 39–42 and EU 43–46. Take your usual shoe size. If you sit right between the two, take the smaller one. The true rib gives, while a sock that is too long wrinkles at the ankle. Wrong size? We exchange it free of charge.
What is Fil d’Écosse?
A particularly finely worked, mercerised cotton. In mercerising, the yarn is refined: it becomes smoother and more hard-wearing and takes on a restrained, natural sheen. That is the reason this sock keeps its shape longer than an ordinary cotton one, and the reason it costs what it costs.
Men’s or women’s?
Weder noch. Die Club Socks sind unisex. One cut, two sizes, three colours. Nothing about the shape differs; only the size does.
Is the set of three worth it?
It holds one pair of each colour and costs 65 € instead of 75 €, you save 10 €. You choose one size for all three pairs. To the set of three
How do I wash them?
At 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out. No fabric softener, it coats the fibre and the sock loses its grip. Do not tumble dry, do not bleach. Mercerised cotton keeps its sheen longest when it dries in the air.
